The Call of the Wild and Downhill are coming to digital early amid the global health crisis.

The films will both be available for digital purchase on Friday (March 27), Walt Disney Studios revealed on Thursday (March 26).

Both films hit theaters in February before closures began amid the pandemic. They will be available for $14.99 and $9.99, respectively.

The Call of the Wild stars Harrison Ford, and has an 89% rating on RottenTomatoes.

Here’s a plot summary: “Adapted from the novel by Jack London, it vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Canadian Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team–and later its leader–Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.”

Here’s a plot summary for Downhill: “Barely escaping an avalanche during a family ski vacation in the Alps, a married couple is thrown into disarray as they are forced to reevaluate their lives and how they feel about each other. Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell star in this biting comedy.”

Mark Wahlberg is opening up about some “Burning Questions”!

The Spenser Confidential star made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday (February 26).

Mark recently joined Ellen‘s executive producer Andy Lassner in his slow-walking movement on Instagram, and he spoke out about the experience. He also talked about the fitness franchise F45, as well as his disagreement with Dr. Oz about the importance of breakfast.

Later on, he talked about the father-daughter dance he went to at his daughter’s school, and how she wouldn’t dance with him! Plus, he answered burning questions, including when he feels sexy, and what he does not like about Will Ferrell.

Will Ferrell is barely surviving the heat!

The Anchorman comedian and actor made an appearance on First We Feast’s Hot Ones with Sean Evans in an episode that premiered on Thursday (February 20).

During his appearance, Will explained the original concept of Anchorman, which involved a plane crash and newsmen trying to survive while being hunted by apes.

“It was going to be like a movie about newsmen meets like the movie Alive where they have to survive in the mountains, yeah, and it was all about trying to survive and get down the mountain while being stalked by chimpanzees with Chinese throwing stars,” he said.

He also said that while filming Old School, Snoop Dogg took so long to come out of his trailer, because he was busy smoking and playing video games, that Will started drinking out of boredom – making it easy to do that infamous naked scene.

Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday (February 13) to promote their new movie Downhill, and told some hilarious stories about what went down while filming the comedy.

The 52-year-old actor shared totally hilarious story about him getting lost after skiing downhill to Switzerland while on location.

“The second resort we were in, called Ischgl, shares the border,” Ferrell explained. “There were little signs, like, ‘This way, Switzerland.’ I’m, like, let’s do it. So I’m by myself, I’m skiing down, I was like, this is so lovely and, like, but I don’t see a chair lift back at all. And I end up in a small town in Switzerland. Gone for, like, three hours. I have to figure out, like, a bus and a tram. I had no money.”

Will joked, “The Swiss are naty. To get cornered by a bunch of Swiss, chanting at me. Pelting me with Rolex watches. Hard chocolate candies. It was harrowing.”

Director and Writer Jim Rash, who joined the actors later in the show, seems to have hoped for a different outcome: “We were actually upset that he came back. We were like, we did it. But he found his way back, so, you do what you can,” joked Rash.

Will Ferrell‘s yearly Valentine’s Day tradition is something to not be missed!

While making an appearance on The Late Show on Wednesday night (February 12), the 52-year-old actor shared how he keeps the romance alive in his relationship with his wife of almost 20 years Viveca Paulin.

“I do send flowers,” Will told host Stephen Colbert. “I’m very good about flowers and I do write very interesting notes—personal notes that Viveca, bless her heart, I was telling that I was going to maybe talk about this and she found a number of the cards.”

Will then pulled out a pile of his actual notes and graciously read some of them. “Starting with, ‘Happy Valentine’s Day, Viveca,’” Will said as he read the first card. “‘My love for you has grown over the years by a total of 3%.’”

Will continued with his second message: “‘Honey, you are a great mother. But you have no sense of personal space. Back off. Happy Valentine’s Day.’”

“‘My heart skips a beat every time I think you, because of my atrial fibrillation.’” Will read in another, adding “That’s pretty good.”

Will also talked about presenting at the 2020 Oscars ceremony with his Downhill co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and explained that attending the Oscars is mandatory for Hollywood bigwigs like himself.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus wears a sexy black dress for the premiere of her new movie, Downhill, at SVA Theater on Wednesday night (February 12) in New York City.

The 59-year-old actress joined her co-stars Will Ferrell, Zach Woods, Zoe Chao, Giulio Berruti, Ammon Jacob Ford and Julian Grey on the red carpet at the event.

Timothee Chalamet will join Gal Gadot, Mark Ruffalo and Lin-Manuel Miranda as a presenter at the upcoming 2020 Oscars next month.

The four stars join a handful of other stars who are set to present on stage during the big awards night.

Zazie Beetz, Will Ferrell, Mindy Kaling, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Anthony Ramos, Kelly Marie Tran and Kristen Wiig will also be presenting at the ceremony, Deadline reports.

The Academy just recently revealed that the Big 4 winners from last year – Rami Malek, Olivia Colman, Mahershala Ali, and Regina King would also return to present at the event.
