Tayshia Adams Denies She's Split from Zac Clark, Reveals Where Her Engagement Ring Went

Tayshia Adams is speaking out in response to speculation that she split from fiance Zac Clark after people noticed she wasn’t wearing her engagement ring.

The 30-year-old reality star got engaged to Zac on the most recent season of The Bachelorette and now she’s preparing to co-host the upcoming season of the reality series.

Tayshia set the record straight about her relationship status while speaking to fans in some Instagram Stories videos on Monday (March 15).

“There’s always weird rumors circulating around that I’m not wearing my ring and that Zac and I are broken up. I don’t know what is happening, but you guys, I was holding my phone with my left hand,” she said in a video.

“But ironically enough, as I was showing my hand maybe a week and a half ago, my ring was literally swinging around my finger, and a lot of you messaged me like, ‘Don’t lose your ring!’ Well, I was in L.A. for a hot minute and was able to finally drop off my ring and get it sized,” Tayshia continued. “So yes, ironically, it was my right hand in my Story, but I also just got my ring sent in to be cleaned and sized, finally — it’s been, like, six months since I’ve had it. So I should have it again maybe tomorrow or Wednesday. Everything is good on this forefront. Thank you so much for being concerned, but we’re good. We’re chillin’.”

Tayshia has said that she and Zac are not in a rush to get married.

The Bachelorette's Zac Clark Talks Addiction Struggles & What He Did Just to Get Painkillers

The Bachelorette‘s Zac Clark is speaking out about his struggles with addiction.

The 36-year-old addiction specialist got candid on an episode of the Heart of the Matter with Elizabeth Vargas podcast and disclosed that at the height of his addiction he convinced his doctor to remove his gallbladder in order to get more pain pills.

He told host Elizabeth Vargas, “I’ll never forget — I went to an Eagles game on a Sunday and overdid it, which basically means I did all my drugs. So I woke up Monday morning with nothing left and I was sick.”

“I had this crazy thought because I was feeling sick that I was going to go to the hospital and talk a doctor into giving me some medication,” Zac said. “I didn’t know what my plan was‚ and then I think dehydration or something kicked in and I felt my side. I was like, ‘I think I can figure something out here.’ I think I Googled whatever symptoms I had to Google.”

Zac persuaded his doctor to give him the surgery and said he received the pain medication Dilaudid “within a half hour.”

“Right before — you know, they put you under, I mean, they knocked me out for that surgery — the doctor looked at me in the eye and he goes, ‘You know what we’re doing today, right?’” he recalled. “I said, ‘Yeah, you’re taking my gallbladder out.’ He said, ‘Before I put you under, I just want to make sure you want to go through with this.’ And I was like, ‘Yep.’ And I did it. It was nuts.”

Zac, who won the most recent season and is now engaged to Tayshia Adams, has been sober since 2011.

He recently opened up about what it was like to go through The Bachelorette sober on an episode of Tayshia‘s Click Bait podcast. Find out what he said here!

'The Bachelorette's Zac Clark Talks Staying Sober During The Show

Zac Clark is opening up about staying sober while appearing on The Bachelorette.

The 36-year-old addiction specialist, who won the most recent season and is now engaged to Tayshia Adams, chatted about his sobriety on his fiancee’s Click Bait podcast, saying he did not drink any alcohol on the show.

“I’m so happy we’re taking about this. It is wild how much attention this gets,” Tayshia, 30, said when chatting about Zac‘s sobriety on the podcast.

“Apple cider for the win!” Zac said with a laugh, while adding that “sober to me means no drugs, no alcohol, no nothing since August of 2011.”

“And I gotta say, you know, everyone who worked on the show, anytime there was a toast, there was someone with an apple cider sparkling …” Zac continued, while Tayshia added, “or even ginger ale at times.”

Zac went on to recall one of the rose ceremonies towards the end of the season when Tayshia chose not to drink with him – which he said was “the moment I knew Tayshia liked me”

“After the rose ceremony, there’s this round of toasts,” Zac explained. “The guy came out with the tray of champagne and there was four champagnes and one apple cider and she looks at him and she goes, ‘No, I’m drinking apple cider with him tonight.’ And I said, ‘What?!’ She made the guy go back, get an apple cider while all these people are waiting.”

“So, she was on team Clarky that day,” he added, “and that’s when I knew.”
