The trailer for the new teen, romantic drama Words on Bathroom Walls has been released.

The new movie based on the book by the same name stars Charlie Plummer and Taylor Russell.

Words on Bathroom Walls tells the story of “Adam (Plummer), who appears to be your typical young adult – a little unkempt with raging hormones and excited about a future pursuing his dream of becoming a chef. Expelled halfway through his senior year, Adam is diagnosed with a mental illness that he keeps secret at his new school. Living in constant fear of being exposed, Adam finds a soulful, comforting connection in Maya (Russell), an outspoken and fiercely intelligent girl who inspires him to open his heart and not be defined by his condition. With the love and support of his newfound romance and family, Adam is hopeful for the very first time that he can see the light and triumph over the challenges that lie ahead.”

Directed by Thor Freudenthal, the film also stars Andy Garcia, AnnaSophia Robb, Beth Grant, Devon Bostick, Lobo Sebastian, Molly Parker and Walton Goggins.

Words on Bathroom Walls will be released on July 31.

Patrick Wilson and Charlie Plummer have joined the cast of director Roland Emmerich‘s upcoming sci-fi thriller Moonfall.

Halle Berry and Josh Gad are already on board for the project, which is another end-of-the-world movie for Emmerich.

Moonfall “is set in motion when the moon is knocked from its orbit by a mysterious force and set on a collision course with Earth. With just weeks to go before impact, a ragtag team is sent on a seemingly impossible mission to land on the lunar surface and save humanity,” according to THR.

Patrick is set to “play a disgraced former NASA astronaut whose last mission, which ended in tragedy, holds a clue about the impending catastrophe.” Charlie will be playing his teenage son.

The movie is scheduled to start production this fall in Montreal.
