Alanis Morissette walks the red carpet at the opening night of her Broadway show Jagged Little Pill on Thursday (December 5) in New York City.

The new show uses the music from Alanis‘ album of the same name, plus some of her other songs, to tell a new and original story. She was joined at the event by husband Mario Treadway, as well as the show’s director Diane Paulus, book writer Diablo Cody, choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and her music co-writer Glen Ballard.

Lots of celebs stepped out to check out the opening night performance, including Sara Bareilles and her longtime boyfriend Joe Tippett.

Also in attendance were David Foster, Rosie O’Donnell and friend Ally Sheedy, singer Sarah McLachlan, theater owner Jordan Roth, The Politican‘s Laura Dreyfuss, and Broadway stars Ashley Park, LaChanze, and Laura Osnes with husband Nathan Johnson.

LaChanze‘s daughter Celia Rose Gooding is one of the leads in the show!

Victor Garber wears a top hat on the red carpet at the opening night of Broadway’s A Christmas Carol on Wednesday (November 20) at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City.

The 70-year-old actor watched Campbell Scott, Andrea Martin, and LaChanze in the new take on the classic story.

Some of the other opening night guests included Broadway stars like Jessie Mueller, married couple Andy Karl and Orfeh, Drew Gehling and girlfriend Julia Mattison, Beth Leavel, and more.

This new production of A Christmas Carol, which previously had a run at London’s Old Vic, will only play eight weeks on Broadway. Don’t miss it!

Amy Poehler and Naomi Watts stepped out to support an important cause at the Worldwide Orphans Gala!

The two actresses hit the blue carpet at the event on Monday evening (November 5) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

They were joined by LaChanze and Luke Guldan as well as Worldwide Orphans founder Dr. Jane Aronson.

Dr. Aronson is acclaimed for her expertise in adoption medicine and the annual gala raises money to transform the lives of orphans and at-risk children to help them become healthy, independent, productive members of their communities and the world.

LaChanze and Ariana DeBose step out on the red carpet at the 2018 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 10) in New York City.

The ladies were both nominated for playing Donna Summer in the new musical Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, LaChanze in the leading actress category and Ariana in the featured actress category.

The cast of the musical performed the song “Last Dance” during the show.

Ariana DeBose belts out the classic song “MacArthur Park” during an appearance The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (May 21) in New York City.

The Tony-nominated actress plays Donna Summer in the new musical Summer and she was joined by fellow Tony nominee (and former winner) LaChanze and Storm Lever for the performance.

Ariana, LaChanze, and Storm play the late singer at three different points in her life.

The musical is currently playing at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Broadway. Get your tickets now to see it live!

Idina Menzel takes her bow during the curtain call at the opening night performance of her musical If/Then at the Pantages Theatre on Wednesday (December 9) in Los Angeles.

The Tony Award-winning actress is performing in select cities on the national tour of the Broadway show alongside fellow original cast members LaChanze, James Snyder, and Anthony Rapp.

Some of the celebs that stepped out to check out Idina‘s powerhouse performance included Shadowhunters‘ Katherine McNamara, How to Get Away with Murder‘s Alfred Enoch, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Ming-Na Wen, NCIS: Los Angeles‘ Barrett Foa, Awkward‘s Molly Tarlov, and former Mean Girls co-stars Lacey Chabert and Jonathan Bennett.

The ladies were joined by co-stars Anthony Rapp and James Snyder, as well as composer Tom Kitt.

Idina was showing off her new bangs that day, which she debuted on her Twitter account that morning with the caption, “Impulsive two minute haircut… BANG!”

It was just revealed that the If/Then CD received the highest debut for a Broadway cast album on the Billboard chart since Rent back in 1996 – another show that Idina starred in!
