Mahershala Ali, Glenn Close, & Viggo Mortensen Hit AARP's Movies for Grownups Awards Red Carpet

Mahershala Ali, Glenn Close, and Viggo Mortensen team up for the 2019 AARP The Magazine’s Movies For Grownups Awards!

The 44-year-old True Detective actor, the 71-year-old The Wife actress, and the 60-year-old Green Book star stepped out for the event held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (February 4) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Glenn is nominated for Best Actress, and Viggo is up for Best Actor for their aforementioned films.

They were joined by Best Director/Best Screenwriter nominee Peter Farrelly for Green Book, Best Director nominee Spike Lee for BlacKkKlansman, Best Supporting Actor nominee Richard E. Grant for Can You Ever Forgive Me?, and Best Supporting Actress nominee Blythe Danner for What They Had.

Also in attendance were Topher Grace, Barry Jenkins, Jane Seymour, Elizabeth Chomko, Linda Cardellini, Bo Welch, Catherine O’Hara, John DeLuca, Rob Marshall, Henry Mortensen, Edward James Olmos, Diane Warren, and Frances Fisher.

The event, hosted by Martin Short, honors films by and for people 50 or older. It will be televised on PBS on February 15 at 9 p.m. (check local listings) and will stream starting February 16 on pbs.org/gperf.

Oprah Helps Honor Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson at Ambassadors for Humanity Gala!

Tom Hanks is all smiles as he poses in-between Oprah and his wife Rita Wilson at the 2018 Ambassadors For Humanity Gala Benefiting USC Shoah Foundation held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Monday (November 5) in Beverly Hills.

Steven Spielberg, founder of USC Shoah Foundation – The Institute for Visual History and Education, and his wife Kate Capshaw presented Tom, 62, and Rita, also 62, with the Institute’s 2018 Ambassadors for Humanity Award.

who hosted, and Melissa Etheridge who hit the stage for a special performance at the event. “We don’t know what’s going to happen [on election day],” Tom said during his speech, “but we do know that we have an engine, a motor, that gives us the guide to join in the mission of Shoah Foundation and form a more perfect union.”

Tom and Rita are champions of many vital efforts, they have been steadfast supporters of USC Shoah Foundation for more than two decades, helping to further the Institute’s mission to develop empathy, understanding and respect through eyewitness testimony.

Woody Allen Makes Rare Appearance to Honor Diane Keaton at AFI Gala Tribute!

Woody Allen gives his longtime friend Diane Keaton a hug while honoring her at the American Film Institute’s 2017 Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute on Thursday (June 8) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Diane had support from a legendary group of friends at the event, including Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino, Warren Beatty, Martin Short, Jane Fonda, Steve Martin, Candice Bergen, Sidney Poitier, George Stevens Jr., Richard Dreyfuss, and many more.

Woody called Diane a “woman who is great at everything,” but he also roasted her and joked about her she has been with the “most charismatic men in Hollywood and they always dumped her.” He of course directed her in the movie Annie Hall, which won her an Oscar.

Pete Davidson Credits Girlfriend Cazzie David For Helping Him Stay Sober: 'I'm Very Lucky'

Pete Davidson is opening up about feeling thankful for having his girlfriend Cazzie David by his side while becoming sober for the first time in eight years.

“I’m very lucky. She’s very, very supportive.” the 23-year-old Saturday Night Live star expressed (via ET) while attending The Natural Resources Defense Council’s STAND UP! for the Planet benefit on Tuesday (April 25) at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts with Cazzie, who is Larry David‘s daughter, by his side.

“She’s the most beautiful girl in the world, look how lucky I am. She’s so smart, look how smart she is,” Pete continued. “She is a very, very wonderful lady.”

“He really loves that I’m dating a comedian,” Cazzie revealed about her father Larry. “He loves it because he feels like the only people he can talk to are people who also make jokes. It worked out very well.”

Matt Damon & Jimmy Kimmel Feud Over Baby's Paternity - Watch Now!

Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly McNearney have a baby on the way – but his arch nemesis Matt Damon joined the couple for a hilarious Valentine’s Day sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

In the sketch, it’s revealed that Matt could be the father of Molly‘s baby, so the couple goes on the Maury show (where Maury is played by Martin Short) to determine the paternity of the child.

“Why don’t we let the baby decide?” Matt says. “Hello, baby! We don’t know if you’re a boy or a girl, but we have a choice of daddies. One daddy could be an Emmy loser…Other daddy could be an Oscar winner. Do you want to play with Daddy’s Oscar?”
