Is Desperate Housewives coming back?! Not so fast…
On Wednesday (January 13), a rumor started swirling that the hit ABC series was getting a revival heading to Hulu.
“Our source inside @Hulu has confirmed that they are in the final stages of development for a 10 episode DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES REVIVAL! @HatchingChange @EvaLongoria @ReallyMarcia #FelicityHuffman are ALL set to return!!! Are you excited???” a fan site tweeted.
After seeing the tweet, Marcia Cross, who played Bree Van de Camp on Desperate Housewives, shut down the rumors.
“News to me!!” the 58-year-old three-time Golden Globe-nominated actress tweeted.
Desperate Housewives ran on ABC for eight seasons from 2004 to 2012 and starred Marcia, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, Brenda Strong, Nicolette Sheridan, and Vanessa Williams. The show won six Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
