Adam Levine Throws Some Shade at Blake Shelton & 'The Voice' During Instagram Q&A

Adam Levine did a Q&A on his Instagram Stories on Monday (December 28) and he threw some shade at The Voice and his former co-star Blake Shelton.

The 41-year-old singer left the show after the 16th season, which aired in early 2019. Him and Blake always had a friendly rivalry and some of the comments he made in the Q&A could just be a continuation of that.

“Did you miss Blake on The Voice last season?” one fan asked. Adam responded, “Blake who?”

Someone else said, “Come back to The Voice?” Adam replied, “No thank you?”

Someone asked, “Which of Blake‘s album is your favorite?” Adam responded, “Who is this Blake you speak of?”

A fan asked, “How did it feel to be the Sexiest Man Alive back in those days?” Adam answered, “Totally silly, but flattering.” Another fan then asked, “Do you think Blake also being the Sexiest Man Alive was a People‘s downgrade.” He responded with the “100″ emoji.

Gwen Stefani Reveals How She Almost Ruined Blake Shelton's Proposal!

Gwen Stefani almost missed her own engagement!

During her appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the 51-year-old singer explained how she almost ruined Blake Shelton‘s proposal.

“I had no idea, obviously. In fact, I was trying to get out of going to Oklahoma because it was getting too complicated with COVID and the family,” Gwen explained. “I was like, ‘I think we should just cancel the trip.’ It was one of those. Then we got it together and we ended up going. [Our family] was all there.”

After five years of dating, the 44-year-old country rocker proposed to Gwen in October during their trip to Oklahoma.

“We’re building a house there. We were going to go from one part of the land to the other part of the land to go to see the house,” Gwen added. “And meanwhile, Blake had had this ring for a couple of weeks and nobody knew.”

Find out how Blake got Gwen‘s three sons involved in the proposal!

Blake Shelton Wants Adam Levine To Play at His Wedding To Gwen Stefani For This Hilarious Reason

Blake Shelton has some ideas about his upcoming wedding to Gwen Stefani, like who will be performing.

The 44-year-old Voice judge opened up in a new interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers, and joked that he actually wanted Adam Levine, who was on The Voice up until season 16, to perform.

“I’ve decided that I’ve been doing this a long time now and I’ve got a lot of favors out there. He may not like it, but Adam Levine’s gonna have to get the band together and come and play our wedding,” Blake joked. “Their music is so boring that it won’t distract from the festivities and the reception.”

He also opened up about how Gwen appeared on Late Night just a day before they announced they were engaged and was wearing her ring then, but no one actually noticed.

“She kept doing this with her hand and wondering if people would figure out that she was wearing an engagement ring,” Blake shared. “I told her, ‘You know, you wear more jewelry than Mr. T, so I don’t think people picked up on that.’ And they didn’t. You could have figured it out though — she was giving you hints!”

Earlier this week, Gwen also opened up about what she imagines her wedding to Blake to be like. See what she said…

Gwen Stefani Doesn't Want Her Wedding to Blake Shelton To Be a COVID Situation

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton delighted fans when they announced their engagement earlier this year, after five years of dating.

Now, the 51-year-old “Let Me Reintroduce Myself” singer is opening up about her nuptials to the 44-year-old country star, and while she doesn’t know exactly what she wants just yet for them, she does know that she doesn’t want masks to be part of it.

“I would say I just want my parents there at this point. My parents wouldn’t come to Thanksgiving because they’re so scared so really would rather it not be a COVID situation,” Gwen shared in a new interview with Ryan Seacrest.

She added, “Like, I would rather not have masks and that kind of thing.”

“Even when you cut it down to just family, it’s too many people for COVID so we’re going to see what happens in the next few months,” Gwen said.

Gwen also says that it’s “funny to even say ‘engaged.’ It feels so weird. People have been saying it for so long, like five years, ‘Are you getting married? Are you engaged?’ And now we actually are and it feels like I’m in a cartoon or something.”

Reba McEntire Could Have Had Blake Shelton's Seat on 'The Voice' & Fans Are Now Pointing This Out!

Reba McEntire revealed she turned down Blake Shelton‘s seat on The Voice panel.

While making an appearance on Watch What Happens Live!, Reba confirmed she turned down the chance to be on the panel and Blake has been a mainstay on the show ever since.

“It is very true,” she said. “It was a very popular show in Holland, I’m pretty sure, and I watched the tape, and I said, ‘No, I’m going to pass on that,’ because I don’t think I could ever be able to tell somebody that they’re terrible or go find another job or hope you like your nighttime job. I couldn’t do that day in and day out. I just couldn’t do it. So I did pass on it.”

Blake is the perfect choice. He’s done a wonderful job,” she said of the original coach, whose fame increased thanks to the reality competition series.

Fans are now pointing out that Reba turning down the show is a huge deal because it caused Blake to eventually meet his now-fiancee, Gwen Stefani! Gwen joined the show later on in The Voice‘s run and now they are engaged to be married!
