Charli XCX is enjoying some time to herself – and sharing some hot snaps from her getaway.

The 27-year-old Charli singer posted a hot bikini mirror selfie to her Instagram on Sunday (December 15).

“ok, i’ve been on a real holiday for the first time in years and now I’m over it and I am soooo ready to be back in the studio making new songs like, ASAP/right now/let’s go,” Charli captioned the hot post.

Days before, Charli posted a cute video in her bikini: “this is some only child s–t right here,” she wrote.

Charli XCX is expressing her frustration with a double standard in music.

The 27-year-old Charli singer posted a series of messages on her Twitter account on Wednesday (November 27).

“i am an artist, a songwriter who’s co written multiple ‘hits’ for myself/other artists, a video director, exec producer of a netflix show, a&r, i run a label, co manage 2 artists.. if I was a man I’d be hailed as some sort of music industry god but as a woman I’m just – doubted??” she wrote.

“btw i don’t need people to feel sorry for me or anything – i’m just saying it how it is. women in this industry are constantly questioned on their validity… ‘did she REALLY write that?’ ‘can she REALLY produce?’ ‘does she REALLY know what she’s doing?’ i see it all the time,” she went on to say.

“any and all female popstars in 2019 are obviously business women: running their own careers, making their own decisions, directing their own teams, proving points, being groundbreaking and making their own art. like, this is SO OBVIOUS. don’t insult us.”

Charli XCX steps out in style for Nasty Cherry‘s performance at The Curtain in Shoreditch on Tuesday night (November 19) in London, England.

The 27-year-old singer turned into a stage mom for the band and was spotted taping the band’s performance on her phone.

If you don’t know, Charli and friend Emmie Lichtenberg brought teamed up with Netflix for a docuseries, titled I’m With The Band, where they handpicked talented musicians in hopes of creating a badass female pop act.

Gabbriette Bechtel, guitarist Chloe Chaidez, bassist Georgia Somary and drummer Debbie Knox-Hewson make up the band, and their six-song debut EP will be out on November 22nd.

Charli XCX is speaking out in her and her fans’ defense.

The 27-year-old Charli musician posted a note to social media on Wednesday (October 30) following a series of concerned tweets and articles regarding her meet-and-greets, during which some fans have recently brought questionable items for her to sign and hold for pictures, including personal hygiene products and even the ashes of one fan’s late mother.

Charli spoke out about the concern that she is being violated by fans with these kinds of requests.

“I do not think my fans have been abusive towards me at meet and greets: please stop saying that they have been. I do these meet and greets because I genuinely want to hear from you all and I don’t want to charge you for my time because I personally don’t really like that…if you’re a journalist – maybe ask me for my opinion before you try and paint me out as some kind of helpless damsel.”

The 27-year-old UK singer-songwriter dropped the visual for “White Mercedes” on Thursday (October 10).

The Colin Solal Cardo and team-directed music video was filmed in Kiev, Ukrraine. The two previously collaborated on “Gone” with Christine & The Queens.

The Charli superstar and the late night TV host teamed up to sing a mashup of Depeche Mode‘s “Just Can’t Get Enough” and Icona Pop‘s “I Love It” live on Wednesday (September 25) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Charli recently opened up about mental health, and the stigma surrounding therapy, in a new interview.

“I’m not anti-therapy at all. I’ve never been anti it, I think it’s brilliant and great and I think everybody should have it because it’s like going to the doctors. It’s like you go for a physical checkup and so you should do the same for your mental health,” she said. Click here to see what else she said!
