During the interview, he revealed the couple still writes letters for each other after four years of marriage.

“Even in lockdown, I’ll write a letter and slip it on her desk, or she’ll write a letter and leave it under the pillow. I’m a big believer in letter. I have letters from Paul Newman, Walter Cronkite, Gregory Peck. I have them framed. I put them in the house. If it were a text, it would feel different. Maybe that’s a generational thing, and maybe it won’t be that way 20 years from now, but for me, somebody sat down and wrote it,” he explained.

He also explained why the couple chose the names Ella and Alexander for their 3-year-old twins.

“I didn’t want, like, weird-ass names for our kids. They’re already going to have enough trouble. It’s hard being the son of somebody famous and successful. Paul Newman‘s son killed himself. Gregory Peck‘s son killed himself. Bing Crosby had two sons kill themselves. I have an advantage because I’m so much older that by the time my son would feel competitive, I’ll literally be gumming bread,” he explained.

One star revealed she used to use George Clooney‘s name to get tables at restaurants.

Dakota Johnson Used To Use This Star's Name To Get The Best Tables at Restaurants

Dakota Johnson has confirmed the rumors that she once used to use George Clooney‘s name to get dinner reservations at certain restaurants.

During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 31-year-old actress opened up about her upbringing in a famous family, therapy and more, before admitting to the rumor.

“Did you or did you not use to make reservations at restaurants under the name George Clooney to get the best table?” Drew asked the Our Friend star.

Dakota replied, “It wasn’t even to get the best table it was just to get a reservation but yeah I did that.”

After doing that for a while, Dakota also revealed that she had met George and he knew that she’d been doing it.

“I had not met him obviously and he was like, ‘I’ve heard about what you’ve done,’” Dakota recalled. “And I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ But he was cool with it.”

Just recently, Dakota set the record straight about this assumption about her.

The movie follows the two stars as Melanie and Jack, busy single parents who are forced together by fate.

George recalled one scene they had together, which he had to film while drunk. He admitted he didn’t think he had work the next day, and went out and had a “few vodkas” with his longtime pal, Rande Gerber, the night before.

“I woke up… and I was like, ‘I feel OK!’ And I looked in the mirror and I was like, ‘Ah, I’m still drunk.’ And I got to the set and walked into the trailer and you looked at me and you go, ‘What,’ and I was like, ‘I didn’t know we were going to work today,’ and you go, ‘You’re still drunk,’” h e explained.

“I kept trying to spray whatever mouth spray I could because I smelled like a distillery,” he continued.

“And then you showed up one day with a broken face,” she replied.

“Yeah, I was playing basketball with the crew at lunch time and I took an elbow in the face from a guy, one of the crew members and broke my eye socket. My eye, it kept swelling and I was like, ‘I can still shoot.’ Remember, we actually shot scenes where we blocked half of my face with a kid?”

He also pointed out that the movie was not well received at first.

“Now people look at that film and they like it, but they were really tough on us at the time,” he said.

“My wife and her friends can’t believe that One Fine Day wasn’t a big hit. They love it. So don’t you think there should be a sequel to One Fine Day? An Older Fine Day, and the kids are all grown up now?”

“It could be called I’m Tired Today,” Michelle said.

He also revealed why he’s never starred in a major motion picture franchise.

George Clooney Reveals Why He's Happy He Never Starred in a Major Film Franchise

George Clooney is opening up about his film career.

During a new interview with the Bafta Life In Pictures series, the 59-year-old actor said that he was glad he never starred in a major film franchise because it allowed him to star in all types of movies, and he was never type-cast to only star in one genre of movies.

“I was lucky in a weird way that as an actor I never got massively successful in anything, you know, in a funny way,” George said, via Deadline. “I never was—I did an action film like Peacemaker and it wasn’t a hit, if it had been Die Hard, which it wasn’t, then that’s who I would have been. I would have been the action guy. I did One Fine Day, if I’d done romantic comedies and any were a massive hit, I would have been the romantic comedy guy, and then I couldn’t have done drama and the other way I couldn’t have done comedy.”

George continued, “Because they weren’t, and if you go through my career a lot of the things weren’t home runs at all, it’s allowed me to do and try other things. I’m allowed to do a comedy or a drama, so I can do something as whacky as O Brother Where Art Thou and something as straight as Michael Clayton.”

George Clooney Says Trump Family Will 'Forever Be Associated with Insurrection' After Capitol Riots

George Clooney has a scathing message for Donald Trump.

The 59-year-old Oscar winner appeared on KCRW’s The Business podcast, where he shared his thoughts on the Trump supporters that stormed the Capitol earlier in the week, saying he found it “devastating to watch the people’s house being desecrated in that way.”

George also said that he believes the riots could be the end of Trump as a political force.

“It is also a tremendous overreach in a way — everybody kept waiting for, what’s the one thing, the straw that breaks the camel’s back and it just seemed like that line just kept getting moved and moved and moved and outrage didn’t even matter anymore, even to the point of calling the Secretary of State in Georgia and pressuring him. None of that seemed to matter. This mattered,” George said.

He also went on to slam the rest of Trump‘s family for inciting the riots.

“This puts Donald Trump, Donald Trump Jr. Ivanka, all of them, into the dustbin of history,” George said. “That name will now forever be associated with insurrection.”

George‘s comments come after Trump was basically banned from all social media platforms.

George Clooney Reveals Trick to Get His Twins to Behave Around Christmas!

George Clooney is sharing some of his parenting tricks and tips!

The 59-year-old actor/director appeared for a virtual interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday (December 18) where he revealed how he gets his 3½-year-old twins Ella and Alexander to behave.

“At three years old, you’re just trying to keep your kids in line in general so I devised a way to get them to behave during this time,” George said of the toddlers, whom he shares with wife Amal Clooney.

When they start to misbehave, George reveals that he tricks them into thinking he’s talking to Santa Claus.

“When they’re asleep in the morning — they sleep in the same bedroom — they start to make noises and you can hear the two of them getting at each other, and I stand outside the door and I go ‘Oh hi Santa!’ and then you hear Santa is there and he’s like ‘Ho ho ho!’” George explained, tapping into his best Santa impression. “And I say, ‘What are you doing here Santa?’ and he says, ‘Oh, I’m just making sure that the kids are being good kids.’”

“And you can hear them going, ‘We are Santa! We are!’ ” George added. “Then he leaves and they come out and they’re unbelievably well behaved.”

This trick might work now during Christmastime, but George did admit he’s worried about how he’s going to get them to behave in the spring.

“I’m worried about the Easter bunny, because I’m not quite sure what he sounds like,” George jokingly added.
