He tweeted a link to a tweet that read, “Jameela Jamil says her nut allergies have ‘cleared up’ after being blasted for snap of peanut butter snacks – as critics say she has Munchhausen syndrome.” Piers quote tweeted and wrote, “š¤£š¤£š¤£ IT’S A MIRACLE! So happy for you @jameelajamil – hope your other 1,345 virtue signalling victimhood-craving ailments make similarly miraculous recoveries.”
Well, Jameela saw that tweet and responded, “There is no cure for you being a pointless, boring, misogynist prick sadly.”

The 33-year-old Good Place star reacted to viral social media posts claiming that she suffers from Munchausen syndrome, which causes people to fake health scares for attention.
Following her recent decision to come as queer amid backlash for hosting a vogueing show for HBO, critics began questioning her statements in past interviews about her past injuries, as well as anecdotes about allergies and other incidents that seemingly didn’t all add up.
āFirst Iām lying about my sexuality, now Iām now being accused of munchausens? By an unhinged idiot who didnāt even realize in all her āresearchā that my car accident injury stories are ādifferentā because they were about TWO SEPARATE CAR ACCIDENTS 13 years apart? You can keep it,ā she wrote.
“1/2 Being gaslit over your health for entertainment is a very specific pain and trauma that a lot of people with Ehlers Danlos/invisible disability have to face every day from people who donāt understand our vastly under-researched condition. And to what end? Who wins? If I was 2/2 Oil tycoon destroying the planet, or a serial sex offender I would maybe understand this vitriol and effort to target and harass me. But Iām just a mental health/eating disorder advocate actually taking the time to change public policy and legislation to protect kids. š¤·š½āāļø,” she continued.
“If the worst thing youāve got on me is that I ran away from bees which I have a phobia of, twice in 34 years into the road, when bees and roads are everywhere, so thatās not really an extraordinary story… and my allergies/intolerances lessened as I grew older… then lol,” she later added.

Jameela Jamil has come out as queer after facing backlash of joining HBO Max’s vogueing competition series.
The Good Place actress took to social media to come out to fans and haters.
“Twitter is brutal. This is why I never officially came out as queer,” she wrote in a new post. “I added a rainbow to my name when I felt ready a few years ago, as it’s not easy within the south Asian community to be accepted, and I always answered honestly if ever straight-up asked about it on Twitter. But I kept it low because I was scared of the pain of being accused of performative bandwagon jumping, over something that caused me a lot of confusion, fear and turmoil when I was a kid.”
Jameela added, “I didn’t come from a family with *anyone* openly out. It’s also scary as an actor to openly admit your sexuality, especially when you’re a brown female in your thirties.”
“This is absolutely not how I wanted it to come out. I’m jumping off this hell app for a while because I don’t want to read mean comments dismissing this. You can keep your thoughts.”
She continued on, “I know that being queer doesn’t qualify me as ballroom. but I have privilege and power and a large following to bring to this show, (as does the absolutely iconic Megan Tee Stallion,) and it’s beautiful contestants and ballroom hosts. Sometimes it takes those with more power to help a show get off the ground so we can elevate marginalized stars that deserve the limelight and give them a chance.”
“I’m not the MC. I’m not the main host,” Jameela wrote. “I’m just a lead judge due to my 11 years of hosting experience, being fully impartial, a newcomer to ballroom (like much of the audience will be) and therefore a window in for people who are just discovering it now, and being a long time ally of the lgbtq community.”
Earlier in the week, fans came after Jameela after it was announced she joined the upcoming show as a judge.
Jameela Jamil is defending herself after it was announced she would be a judge on HBO Max’s upcoming vogueing competition show, Legendary.
Fans became upset with the Good Place star after her role as a judge was announced for the show, which according to Variety, “turns modern day ball culture into a competition.”
The show will feature divas battling on teams called āHousesā in challenges involving fashion, dance and voguing. Each house is comprised of five performers and a leader. The 9-episode series features the teams facing off against one another for a trophy and cash prize. Each episode features a different themed ball and extensive footage of the competitors preparing behind the scenes.
“This seems sort of ironic in that @jameelajamil is apparently taking the place of an already underprivileged group in Hollywood,” one Twitter user wrote about the news.
Comic artist Adam Ellisalso taggedJameela on the network and asked why she took a job “on a panel that should be populated with queer and trans people?”
Jameela defended herself on her account, before deleting the tweet.
“Iām here as the ally/outsider to bring other outsiders in to celebrate this extraordinary world that deserves to be mainstream.ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø,” she explained.
She’ll join Megan Thee Stallion, Law Roach and Leiomy Maldonado on the judging panel on the show, with Dashaun Wesley and DJ MikeQ emceeing.

Jameela Jamil paid a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (January 29) and told a hilarious story about her horrifying first A-list Hollywood party!
The 33-year-old Good Place star shared the story of her first legit Hollywood event that resulted in her turning down an invitation to party with Leonardo DiCaprio.
“I don’t go to any award ceremony or any party for longer than about 20 or 30 minutes, because of my first big Hollywood party. Maybe three years ago, I just shot The Good Place, but no one knew who I was. I got invited to this giant Oscars party full of absolute A-list stars. You had Charlize Theron, Gwyneth [Paltrow] was there, Edward Norton, it was insane,” Jameela recalled. “I’m walking around on my own trying to find people to talk to, starting conversations with these A-listers who are looking at me like I’m just a very over-confident cleaner. And no one wants to talk to me, so after a while, I find myself lurking around the buffet area.”
“The food is incredible at these things, and no one eats the food! None of them eat the goddamn food. So, I had a bite of steak, it was incredible and I was like, ‘No one else is eating this, I should take some of this home with me,’” Jameela continued. “And so, I take a plate and I pile a steak on, and I’m like, ‘I could take, like, 10 more of these.’ So, I pile 10 giant steaks onto a plate. I have Gwyneth Paltrow in front of me. She turns around and looks at me, and I was like, ‘Atkins.’ And she was like, ‘Cool.’ And I grabbed a cloth napkin, I put it over the plate, flipped it, bundled all the steaks up, they start bleeding.”
Jameela went on to explain that she began to “panic” and “waddling so fast” away from the scene that she eventually ran into Muse‘s Matt Bellamy, and that’s where DiCaprio came in: “I know him, he’s English, we know each other from England, everyone knows each other. He stops me and is like, ‘Hey, I just got here. I’m about to go to this party Leonardo DiCaprio is having in a hotel room. Do you want to come?’ I was likeāI did, I wanted to go, but I was likeā’I've just been through so much to get these steaks.’ I had tears in my eyes, so I was like, ‘I just have to go home.’ And so, I took these bleeding steaks home and I ate them by myself.”
Jameela also brought Jimmy a full meal hidden in her outfit, talked about her boyfriend James Blake‘s Grammy-nominated album and the grand finale of her show The Good Place.
