“I’m not being dragged into celebrity feuds. I’m 34. I’m not involved in any of these dynamics. I don’t care which of them dislike each other. I’m interviewing interesting humans sharing their unique mental health journeys that may help others to learn about. Demi’s episode is 👌,” she wrote.

“youre just bestfriend with taylor swift,” wrote back one person.

“I know and like all of these women separately. Their inter personal histories and relationships are not my fight/business. Not all humans have to get along. Not all women have to get along. It is not as black and white as the internet decides it is. Humans are very complicated,” she responded.

Jameela Jamil Regrets Coming Out as Queer When She Did: 'That Was Not Well Handled'

Jameela Jamil came out as queer after facing the backlash of joining HBO Max’s vogueing competition series, and she’s now admitting she maybe should have come out at a different time.

“It was just an outburst,” Jameela said during an interview with Variety Live this past weekend. “That was not well handled. I’m just human and I snapped! If I could go back I would have done it at a different time. I don’t know when it’s ever really appropriate, but that was not the best time.”

“I come from a South Asian background, so you just don’t really have a lot of queer idols. There isn’t a lot of conversation around it. There isn’t a lot of acceptance for it within my culture, traditionally. It was just something that I wrestled with the shame of for a long time,” she continued.

“I have never felt like my private life is mine alone, so I’ve been trying to grapple with how to handle that for so long because I don’t like having my love life scrutinized,” Jameela added about being a public figure. “So I kept it quiet for a while to give myself some privacy and then it just burst out of me.”

“Not my favorite moment of the year,” she continued. “We live and we learn … it’s nice to have it off my chest.”

Jameela Jamil Responds to Comedian Who Suggests She'll Claim to Have Coronavirus

Jameela Jamil is calling out comedian and former The View co-host Michelle Collins for suggesting that she will claim to have Coronavirus.

Michelle took to Twitter earlier this week and joked about celebrities catching Coronavirus.

“Place your bets on who will be the first famous person to get Corona,” she tweeted. She then added, “jameela doesn’t count.”

Jameela screencapped the tweets and wrote, “May you never suffer from chronic illness. May you never wake up in pain and swollen every fucking day of your life. May you never struggle with an invisible disability. May you never be laughed at over it by people who have never met you. @michcoll 👎🏽 To the bad place you go. 👎🏽.”

“I simply said I found the show ‘surjury’ (not her) problematic for kids to watch. And that love island needed some more diversity. Both times Caroline instigated debate with ME even though I was not targeting or blaming her at all. I always just politely explained my point,” she wrote in her defense.

Piers Using a dead woman who I was friends with, as a weapon to try to create further harassment for me as I’ve JUST explained publicly that last week I felt suicidal… is why he is this industry’s most problematic . My criticizing a *show* did not aim any hate at Caroline,” she added.

This is far from the first time the two have sparred in the media. Find out why Jameela Jamil and Piers Morgan battled it out on social media a week before…

James Blake Defends Girlfriend Jameela Jamil Amid Munchausen Syndrome Allegations

James Blake is sticking up for his girlfriend, Jameela Jamil.

The 31-year-old musician spoke out in support of the 33-year-old Good Place star, who he’s been dating for five years, on social media after allegations arose that she was lying about her medical illnesses and accidents over the years.

“It’s pretty disgusting to watch the woman I love just be dog piled on every day for such ridiculous things…she does this because she had such a difficult life. Because she doesn’t want others to feel alone, gaslit or ashamed the way she has,” he wrote.

“I am there for her swollen joints, her dislocations, her severe allergic reactions, her constant high fevers. I was there for her concussion, her 3 months of seizures, when the doctor gave her the cancer diagnosis, and for all her operations and their complications due to EDS [Ehlers-Danlos syndrome]. I can feel the lumps in her back from the car accident and see all the scars. I am there when she turns down amazing job opportunities because of her health limitations. I actually live with her. Her being attractive, tall, and successful doesn’t mean she hasn’t been sick.”

“You don’t know what her life is, and has been like. But I do, and I’m not gonna stand by and let some total strangers try to push my girlfriend over the edge,” he said. “… What are any of you even doing? And why are so many of you enjoying this? It’s sick to watch, and I don’t ever see men treated like this, the way we tear women from limb to limb,” he went on to say.

He also called out writer Tracie Morrissey for compiling clips showing apparent inconsistencies.

“Oh and FYI, the woman spreading these lies about my girlfriend has started a Patreon so that you have to pay her to hear them. Literally profiting off exploiting and gaslighting a young woman of colour with a chronic illness. Cool.”

Here’s how Jameela Jamil is responding to the allegations.
