Joshua Jackson is taking over the title role of Dr. Death for Jamie Dornan.

The Wrap reports that due to coronavirus pandemic delays in the production, Jamie is no longer able to participate in Peacock’s adaption of Dr. Death.

Expected to start production this fall, Dr. Death is based on the true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch, a rising star in the Dallas medical community. Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed.

Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead.

Joshua joins Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater in the series.

Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan star in the upcoming movie Synchronic and the official trailer has been released!

The mind-bending sci-fi thriller was directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who directed the 2017 film The Endless.

Here is the movie’s synopsis: When New Orleans paramedics and longtime best friends Steve (Mackie) and Dennis (Dornan) are called to a series of bizarre, gruesome accidents, they chalk it up to the mysterious new party drug found at the scene. But after Dennis’s oldest daughter suddenly disappears, Steve stumbles upon a terrifying truth about the supposed psychedelic that will challenge everything he knows about reality—and the flow of time itself.

Synchronic will be released in theaters and drive-ins on October 23.

It was recently announced that Jamie has a very exciting movie in the works!

Jamie Dornan and Caitriona Balfe will be starring in an upcoming movie that Kenneth Branagh is directing!

The film, which is reportedly titled Belfast, is a semi-autobiographical feature inspired by Branagh‘s childhood in Northern Ireland during the 1960s.

Jamie and Caitriona will be playing the parents of the Branagh character and Judi Dench and Ciaran Hinds have been cast as the grandparents, according to the Daily Mail‘s Baz Bamigboye.

Caitriona confirmed the casting news on Twitter and said, “I guess the cat is out of the bag!!! So delighted to be working on this special project with this amazing cast and the wonderful Kenneth Branagh. Exciting stuff!”

After the news was confirmed, Caitriona‘s Outlander co-star Sam Heughan reacted and tweeted, “What. A. CAST!!!!!!”

Jamie Dornan starred opposite Kirsten Dunst in the 2006 movie Marie Antoinette and now he’s turning himself into the title character with the help of Reface App.

The 38-year-old actor, who played Marie-Antoinette’s lover Axel von Fersen, is playing both of the characters in this deep fake video.

“Acting against myself in Marie Antoinette. I always knew I was miscast in that movie,” Jamie jokingly wrote on his Instagram account.

Queer Eye‘s Tan France commented on the clip and said, “This made me snort laugh!👏🏽.” Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy said, “So rosy-cheeked!”

The film, which won the Oscar for Best Costume Design, grossed $61 million at the worldwide box office and while it didn’t do well in the U.S., it has become a cult favorite over the years.

Last months, Jamie posted a workout video and revealed his interesting music choice for exercising.

At one point during the interview, the 38-year-old actor was asked if he feels like playing Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey films caused Hollywood to typecast him in similar roles.

“What’s great about it and the success it had is that they’re so unique, it’s very hard to be typecast as someone like that because there’s no one like him really, there’s not been other movies about characters like him, so it was such a one-off in that the books, the movies and the trilogy, was its own thing,” Jamie told the hosts. “Everything I’ve done since has been a million miles from it.”

In addition, Jamie talked about how he thought he’d be more of a comedic actor when he started in the business…and then he landed the role of serial killer Paul Spector in The Fall.

“I always thought I’d do comedy early on [in my career],” Jamie said. “And then I played a psychopath and nobody really thought of me in a comedic way. So I’ve been trying to get back to that a wee bit.”

The 38-year-old Fifty Shades of Grey actor posted a video of himself doing a single arm kettlebell row while the ABBA song “Dancing Queen” from the movie version of Mamma Mia played in the background.

Fans couldn’t help but notice Jamie‘s buff biceps in a video he posted back in May. He attempted to solve a Rubik’s cube quickly in that video, but it was a total fail.
