Lionel Messi has made a huge real estate purchase in Miami!
The 33-year-old soccer player is one of the biggest sports stars in the world and he’s the captain for FC Barcelona and Argentina’s national team.
It was just reported that Messi purchased the entire ninth floor of a luxury apartment building in Sunny Isles Beach. The Real Deal reports that he paid $7.3 million for the luxury condo.
Messi definitely has the money for the purchase as he was ranked the third highest-paid athlete in the world in 2020 with a salary of $104 million.
The apartment will be 5,515-square-feet with four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and an additional 2,100 square feet of terrace space. The building has six pools, a spa, a fitness center, and more.

Forbes has just recently put together a list of the world’s highest-paid soccer players of 2020 – and you might be surprised to know who wound up on their list, as well as how much they’re all making.
The top paid soccer player included on this list brought in an unbelievable $126 million! Even the soccer player ranked at No. 10 still pulled in a whopping $27 million – and that’s just the beginning of this impressive array of players.
At the same time, the company also just revealed the highest-paid actresses of 2020, and the top earner is bringing in $43 million. Find out who it was!

Lionel Messi is ready to go.
The 33-year-old soccer player told Barcelona that he wants to leave the club this summer, ESPN reported on Tuesday (August 25).
The club then confirmed to ESPN Deportes’ Jordi Blanco on the same day that they were “notified by Messi of his decision via burofax, a service used in Spain to urgently dispatch a document that requires proof to third parties. The club responded to Messi via the same service saying they want him to stay and finish his career at the club.”
He currently has a contract until 2021, but has “grown disappointed with events on and off the pitch at Camp Nou in recent months. Reports from Argentina claim Messi believes a clause in the contract should oblige Barcelona to let him leave for free. However, as reported by ESPN earlier this year, the club maintain that particular clause expired at the start of the summer.”
It’s not yet known which clubs would be in contention, as he is the best-paid player in the world. Having lost last week during the Champions League semifinals, he is now prepared to embark on a new challenge following his first trophy-less season since 2007.

If you didn’t know, Lionel is widely considered to be one of the best soccer players in the world and he currently plays for Spanish club Barcelona, as well as the Argentina national team.
Lionel, who also goes by Leo, is one of the most followed people on Instagram with over 160 million followers. He took to his page on Friday and shared a photo from his Ibiza trip. He wrote, “Thanks to our friends at @hotelesvive for the warm welcome. We had a great day!”

The results of the annual YouGov survey were released on Thursday (July 18).

This year’s list of men and women includes Angelina Jolie, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama and Bill Gates.
The survey gathered panelists from 41 countries to compile nominations. Participants from different countries were asked about who they admired the most. More than 42,000 people were interviewed to create this year’s list!
