Lorde Photographed for First Time in Months, Packs on PDA with Justin Warren

Lorde is rarely seen out and about and the last documented photos we personally have of her are from back in 2018, with fan sightings happening as recently as 18 months ago.

The 23-year-old entertainer was seen linking arms and kissing her rumored boyfriend, Justin Warren, a 41-year-old Universal Music executive.

DailyMail has photos of the pair together in Auckland, New Zealand from this week.

Back in 2016, Justin denied dating Lorde, saying, “Ella and I have worked together for years and we’re good friends. Any rumours of us being ‘a pair’ are ridiculous.” They’ve never confirmed their relationship.

Lorde actually just made a rare appearance on her social media too and appeared to tease something coming soon! Stay tuned as we learn more.

“Hey. Are u from New Zealand? I am. If you’re 18+, it’s time to VOTE!” she wrote.

“We know we live in a special place. And adding all of our voices to the conversation, speaking up for communities or organizations that mean something to us – that’s what helps keep it that way,” she continued, providing a link to Vote.nz for more information and calling out the End of Life Choice Bill and the Cannabis Legalization and Control bill for people to research.

“This was honestly incredibly difficult to format and I hope you can repay me with the humble act of VOTING,” she said.

“Do it for our beautiful country and for me. And next year I’ll give you something in return. You got that? Yeah? Ok cool,” she went on to tease.

“Of course I make a motherf–ing typo in my first story in forever. No I’m not fixing it. Sue me!!!” she amusingly noted afterward.

She spoke out over the summer regarding police brutality amid Black Lives Matter protests.

Lorde Slams 'Systemic Brutality By Police' as Racist

Lorde is supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and the protests across the world against police brutality against black men and women. She sent out a note to her followers explaining her position and offering support.

Lorde said she found the “performative activism, predominately by white celebrities (like me)…frustrating,” and added “that white silence right now is more damaging than someone’s wack protest selfie.”

“So let me be clear, this ongoing systemic brutality by police is racist, it’s sickening and it’s unsurprising,” she said.

Lorde also wrote, “To my black and brown listeners — I’m so sorry this is your reality, that you haven’t had a choice but to be defined by this, to give it your energy. I’m aware of that tax on you. I hope white people you know are doing what they can to ease your load. And I really, really hope systems will change to better protect you.”

“The work is so f–king good, my friend. I am truly jazzed for you to hear it,” she teased in the letter.

“I started going back to the studio again in December, just for something to do, and to my surprise, good things came out. Happy, playful things,” she said, adding that she’s working with her Melodrama collaborator Jack Antonoff.

“It flowed. A thing started to take shape. And then, of course, the world shut down. We’re still working away—Jack and I FaceTimed for over an hour this morning going over everything. But it’ll take a while longer.”

She also revealed that she “wasn’t sure” if she’d ever tour again at first.

“I know now how excited I am to get back out there. I want to eat summer foods in beautiful countries—ice cream and tomatoes and anchovies. I want to use my gift, and watch it grow. Who knows when it’ll be safe to do those things, but I’m craving them, and I wanted you to know.”

“I understand— I want nothing more than to feed you treats, pop perfect morsels straight into your little mouths. But as I get older I realise there’s something to be said for the pleasant feeling of waiting for something of quality to become available to you. You could have something of lesser quality much faster, but as the high quality thing comes into fruition, a warm feeling grows inside you. Do you know what I mean?” she added.

“I can tell you, this new thing, it’s got its own colours now. If you know anything about my work, you’ll know what that means.”

At the end of 2019, Lorde revealed the sad reason her album was delayed…

Lorde Pens Heartfelt Note to Fans After Loss of Dog Pearl, Gives Album Update

Lorde is mourning the death of her beloved pup Pearl.

In a fan club newsletter on Saturday (November 2), the 22-year-old “Green Light” singer revealed that Pearl sadly passed away last month.

“I’ve been working away on the new songs for most of this year in New Zealand,” she wrote. “It’s been going pretty well, but something happened last month that I need to tell you about.”

“Some of you may know about Pearl, my dog,” she continued. “Pearl came into my life in 2018, and almost immediately changed everything for me. As anyone who has had the pleasure of raising a dog can understand, my life grew exponentially. Pearl brought an immeasurable amount of joy and purpose into my world. Love vibrated all around us. I felt my life growing and swelling in healthfulness, this orb of contentment glowing around me and Pearl, and our family.”

She then went on to describe some of the specific things she and Pearl liked to do together, adding, “I was receiving huge amounts of energy I can only describe as divine, and I was working hard to communicate it all to you by way of the album. I felt I had been given this great gift that I needed to share with you all.”

Lorde then explained that Pearl had unfortunately been ill throughout his life, and the illness ended up taking a turn for the worse.

Taylor Swift Reveals Lorde & Hayley Kiyoko Friendships Happened After They Publicly Criticized Her

Taylor Swift says that she became friends with both Lorde and Hayley Kiyoko after they publicly criticized her.

The 29-year-old “The Archer” singer opened up in a new interview with Rolling Stone.

“Some of my best friendships came from people publicly criticizing me and then it opening up a conversation,” Taylor said. “Hayley Kiyoko was doing an interview and she made an example about how I get away with singing about straight relationships and people don’t give me s–t the way they give her s–t for singing about girls — and it’s totally valid.”

“Like, EllaLorde — the first thing she ever said about me publicly was a criticism of my image or whatever,” Taylor continued. “But I can’t really respond to someone saying, ‘You, as a human being, are fake.’ And if they say you’re playing the victim, that completely undermines your ability to ever verbalize how you feel unless it’s positive.”

“So, OK, should I just smile all the time and never say anything hurts me?” Taylor Swift added. “Because that’s really fake. Or should I be real about how I’m feeling and have valid, legitimate responses to things that happened to me in my life? But wait, would that be playing the victim?”
