Luke Bryan is rocking out at the 2020 CMT Music Awards!

The 44-year-old country rocker gave an outdoor performance at the awards show which aired on Wednesday night (October 21) from the Barn at Sycamore Farms in Arrington, Tenn.

Introduced by American Idol co-judge Katy Perry, Luke and his socially distanced band mates performed “What She Wants Tonight.”

Luke first released the song a year ago, and appears on his most recent album Born Here Live Here Die Here.

Earlier in the night, Luke won the Male Video of the Year award for his song “One Margarita.”

Katy Perry is getting back to work!

The 35-year-old entertainer and new mom returned to the American Idol stage alongside fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan and host Ryan Seacrest.

In a new interview, Katy opened up about returning to work on Idol after welcoming daughter Daisy Dove with fiance Orlando Bloom back in August.

“It’s amazing. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and for this job, and to be able to continue to inspire other people to go after their dreams,” Katy shared with Entertainment Tonight. “I mean, my life just feels very full and whole. And you know, it’s hard a little bit these first couple of days away and not being able to be there.”

“But Daddy’s doing a great job. Daddy has stepped in,” Perry said of her fiancé, Orlando Bloom. “I’ve seen the Bjorn on him, I’ve seen him with the bottle, I’ve seen all the pictures. It’s all good.”

Luke Bryan hits the stage for a performance at the 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards, which aired on Wednesday (September 16).

The 44-year-old country singer performed his song “One Margarita” at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn.

Earlier in the night, Luke joined the other Entertainer of the Year nominees to kick off the show by performing a medley of their hit songs.

During the pre-show, Luke chatted with People about his American Idol co-star Katy Perry becoming a new mom.

“I have not actually met her personally, but I’ve seen some pictures and [she's] just precious; a precious, precious, beautiful kid, and I can’t wait to see her in person,” Luke said about newborn baby girl Daisy Dove Bloom.

Luke Bryan is ready to spoil Daisy Bloom.

The 44-year-old singer and Katy Perry‘s American Idol co-judge opened up in a new interview about his planned gifts for her newborn daughter she just welcomed with fiance Orlando Bloom.

“I have multiple gifts for this child that require massive packaging and boxing, so Katy, get ready!” he shared with Entertainment Tonight. “Whatever she needs to be a country girl, outdoor girl, I’ve got it all going to Katy and Orlando.”

Luke adds that while he hasn’t met the little girl in person, he did get a glimpse of Daisy during a Zoom call recently with Katy.

“We were talking about some other stuff, but I got to see my first pictures of that beautiful human being,” he revealed. “I’m so happy for them and can’t wait to see her in person.”

The country singer-songwriter superstar and American Idol judge is giving fans an inside look with the Story Behind the Song for “For a Boat,” a new track featured on his latest album, Born Here Live Here Die Here, which was just released earlier this month.

“I grew up sitting on a bank, fishing with my grandfather and my papa and my dad,” he explained in the nostalgic clip about the song.

His latest single, “One Margarita,” notched his 25th No. 1 single for two consecutive weeks. He also performed it at the Idol finale. Watch the performance!

Luke Bryan is taking over American Idol!

The 43-year-old country singer and Idol judge performed during the finale on Sunday (May 17).

While performing virtually from home, Luke performed his new song “One Margarita.”

“It’s a drinking song Ryan, a lot of people are drinking out there during the pandemic,” Luke joked to host Ryan Seacrest before his performance.

“One Margarita” is featured on Luke‘s upcoming album Born Here Live Here Die Here, which was originally set to be released on April 24, but due to the pandemic, Luke decided to push the release date back to August 7.
