Matthew McConaughey Is Asked If Jennifer Aniston & Brad Pitt Had Any Sexual Tension During 'Fast Times' Reunion

You may remember last month that exes Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt reunited for a star-studded virtual reading of the film Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

Matthew McConaughey, one of the participants in the reading, was asked on Watch What Happens Live! if the former married couple were exuding any sexual tension during the reading.

“Could I feel the heat through the screen of Brad? So palpable. Yeah, it was so palpable,” Matthew said while laughing. “No, it was — I noticed that after — that’s what a lot of the topics were about that, or about them,” he added. No, I actually didn’t notice anything through the screen, but that made for a good topic the next day.”

This Jen and Brad reunion was not the first time the exes met up – see these viral photos if you missed them!

Matthew McConaughey Says He Almost Quit Acting & Became A Wildlife Guide

Matthew McConaughey has revealed that he thought about leaving show business and taking up a much different career.

In the newest episode of Apple TV+’s The Oprah Conversation, via EW, the 50-year-old Oscar winner shared that he actually almost called it quits for real while he was trying to break away from romantic comedies.

“I dabbled with thinking about other careers,” he shared, revealing that the careers he was considering included high school football coach, symphony orchestra leader, wildlife guide, and schoolteacher.

He was steadfast in his decision at the time, saying that “I was not going back.”

But, he did go back and went on to star in Mud, Magic Mike, and Dallas Buyers Club, which won him the Oscar for Best Actor in 2014.

“Just the same way I went to Australia for a year and stayed on a handshake, I was in,” Matthew adds about how his attitude contributed to his decision. “I started to get that feeling that even though the harder this gets, this means there’s more reward on the other side. Stick with it, stay in it, don’t pull the parachute, McConaughey.”

Earlier this summer, other celebrities revealed other jobs they have had, too.

Matthew McConaughey Says He Was Molested By a Man at 18 & Blackmailed Into Losing Virginity at 15

Matthew McConaughey is getting really personal in his memoir for “Greenlights.”

Early on in the book, the 50-year-old actor spoke out about losing his virginity at age 15 and says he was “blackmailed” into it.

“I was blackmailed into having sex for the first time when I was fifteen,” Matthew wrote in the memoir. “I was certain I was going to hell for the premarital sex. Today, I am merely certain that I hope that’s not the case.”

He also added that he was “molested by a man when I was eighteen while unconscious in the back of a van.”

He added that he never let these two negative memories make him feel like a victim.

Matthew wrote, “I’ve never felt like a victim. I have a lot of proof that the world is conspiring to make me happy.”

In the memoir, he also wrote about the surprising way his father passed away.

Matthew McConaughey Says He Turned Down $14.5 Million To Star In Another Romantic Comedy

Matthew McConaughey is opening up about leaving romantic comedies behind in his new memoir, “Greenlights”.

The 50-year-old actor wrote about how romantic comedies were great for him during the 2010s, starring in such movies as The Wedding Planner, How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, and Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past, among others.

But after a decade starring in them, he was looking for other things.

“The romantic comedies remained my only consistent box office hits, which made them my only consistent incoming offers,” he wrote. “For me personally, I enjoyed being able to give people a nitty-minute breezy romantic getaway from the stress of their lives where they didn’t have to think about anything, just watch the boy chase the girl, fall down, then get up and finally get her. I had taken the baton from Hugh Grant, and I ran with it.”

Matthew added that he “enjoyed making romantic comedies, and their paychecks rented the houses on the beach I ran shirtless on,” but when the time came to move on he did so without looking back.

He even shared that he turned down a $14.5 million paycheck in 2010 to make another rom-com.

While he didn’t reveal which movie it was, he was serious about furthering his career beyond that genre.

“I declined the offer,” he says. “If I couldn’t do what I wanted, I wasn’t going to do what I didn’t, no matter the price.”

Elsewhere in his memoir, Matthew revealed just how his father James passed away. See what he said here…

Matthew McConaughey's Dad Died in a Surprising Way, Which He Predicted Would Happen

Matthew McConaughey is opening up about the death of his father James, who passed away in 1992.

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actor is getting ready to release his new memoir Greenlights and he opened up about his family during an interview with People.

Matthew revealed that his dad died just how he predicted he would: making love to his wife.

“I got a call from my Mom. ‘Your dad died.’ My knees buckled. I couldn’t believe it. He was my dad. Nobody or nothing could kill him. Except mom. He’d always told me and my brothers, ‘Boys, when I go, I’m gonna be makin’ love to your mother.’ And that’s what happened. He had a heart attack when he climaxed,” Matthew said.

Matthew also opened up about his parents’ relationship.

“They were, at times, violent,” he told People. “As I say in the book, that is how they communicated. They were divorced twice, married three times, I mean, yeah, it was like the Pacific Ocean in a storm.”

Matthew and his wife Camila Alves talked about the importance of “tough love” this summer.
