Nick Cannon Supports Gabrielle Union In 'AGT' Workplace Controversy

Former host of America’s Got Talent Nick Cannon is sticking by Gabrielle Union‘s side in the show’s workplace controversy.

In a new interview with VLADTV, Nick was asked about his thoughts on the matter, and revealed his idea of what the problem truly is.

“It was some eye-opening events that occurred that really shed light on some cultural insensitivities – ultimately, when it comes to women, when it comes to how the show is produced,” he shared. “I believe, as a producer – I was over at AGT for a damn near decade – you kinda see these things as a giant machine, but if you really take the time to step back, you see some things that are truly not fair… It’s an institutional issue.”

Nick also talked about how current host, Terry Crews, should’ve supported Gabrielle from the start, in the same way others believed him about his sexual assault.

“I love Terry Crews, but it gets to that place… again it’s an institutional thing, so I’m not blaming him. We get excited about the occupation, we get excited to work for the man and we gon’ defend the man cause he gave me a job. It don’t matter what you saw because I stood firmly by him when my former agent accosted him…”

Nick adds, “Especially when it comes to our queens, when it comes to Gabby, I don’t care. Whatever she said, if it happened, I’m rocking with you.”

If you missed it, Terry opened up about the alleged racism on the set of the show, and Gabrielle called him out for it.

Nick Cannon Responds to Orlando Brown's Claim That They Engaged in Sexual Activity

Nick Cannon is addressing Orlando Brown‘s claims that he performed oral sex on the former That’s So Raven actor.

A video surfaced on WorldStarHipHop on Wednesday (January 22) in which Orlando, 32, claims the 39-year-old Masked Singer host gave him oral sex.

“Fine, you want me to tell everybody? You want me to let everybody know? Okay, fine. Nick, I let you suck my d–k,” Orlando claimed in the video. “I let Nick suck my d–k… Everybody knows you did it as a female. But, Nick you sucked my d–k. Nick been sucking d–k.”

It’s unclear what prompted Orlando to make these claims against Nick.

After the video surfaced, Nick took to Instagram to address the claims – and says he sees it as a cry for help from Orlando.

“When I first saw this I thought it was f–king hilarious!!!! 🤣🍆💦😂😂😂 But then after putting a little cognitive effort and analytical thought to the situation, I figured what a great opportunity for a ‘teachable moment’!” Nick started. “First off let me say I am praying for the young brother Orlando even though I don’t really know him personally, I have always loved and enjoyed his talent and have been a fan of his past work. He was f–king brilliant in Major Payne, and had us all laughing on ‘Thats So Raven’.”

“But this is another crucial example of when we allow our young artists to be prematurely exposed by this demonic business and left out to fend for themselves. We need better support systems for our youth and take care of our own,” Nick continued. “I watched various of this young brothers videos and all I see is a cry out for help. So I don’t know if there are any real leaders or solid individuals in this young man’s life but let’s embrace him and tighten him up so he doesn’t become another lost victim to these hollywood circumstances.”

Nick went on to say he believes Orlando is a victim of the Hollywood lifestyle that many young celebs get sucked in to before slamming the media for pinning celebs against each other just for “click bait.”

“I indeed believe this brother has the God given talent to be on Wildnout but this definitely ain’t the way to audition, this actually hurts my heart to see that we have allowed Orlando, along with various other young gifted performers we grew up loving, to just dwindle away after these corporations made their billions off of them. Nick continued. “Now due to substance abuse and diagnosed psychiatric disorders our loved ones are now aimlessly begging for the attention they were once given , instead of the help they actually need. All while we sit back and just laugh.”

“The most irresponsible parties involved in all of this is our media, specifically the ‘culturally conscious’. For us to continue to post slander and tear one another down for click bait to make these white supremacy propagated platforms more money is asinine and deplorable,” Nick concluded. “These cannibalistic tactics only destroy ‘Us’. Really, in post like this, who wins??? We might chuckle, joke, pass the gossip on through our low frequency vibrations but does it truly make you feel good??? Especially knowing that there are higher powers looking down at you. So I hold @iheartradio @complex @worldstar accountable!…”
