There might be a third Now You See Me movie coming.

THR reports that Lionsgate is looking to add to the franchise with a third film with Eric Warren Singer to write the script.

“Eric has always been fascinated with the fine art of deception and illusion in all of it forms and he came to us with a great story that takes the mythology of Now You See Me and pushes The Four Horsemen to a whole new level with our key returning cast and new characters,” Nathan Kahane, Lionsgate motion picture group president, shared in a statement.

He adds, “The Now You See Me franchise has been built on keeping the audience surprised and guessing. Any great magician knows, you can’t keep doing the same tricks. And Eric and his team of illusionists have something special up their sleeve for this new film.”

The first movie starred Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Melanie Laurent, and Morgan Freeman.

The second added Daniel Radcliffe and Lizzy Caplan in place of Isla, as she was pregnant with her third child.

Some super cool movie news was just announced – Now You See Me 3 is officially in the works and the second film hasn’t even been released yet.

Lionsgate’s CEO Jon Feltheimer revealed the news while discussing quarterly earnings in a company conference call with analysts, according to Variety.

Production has wrapped on the second film, which will be released on June 10, 2016.

Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine are all reprising their roles in the sequel, which is being directed by Jon M. Chu.

The 37-year-old actress was joined by Jesse Eisenberg for the day promoting their flick Now You See Me.

Jesse and Isla were recently asked by Glamour UK what they learned about each other while filming. Jesse replied, “Isla is hysterical,” while Isla said, “That he loves the colour maroon.”

After three weeks in release in the United States, Now You See Me is still in the top three at the box office and has already grossed nearly $84 million!

The 29-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Dave Franco and Mark Ruffalo.

The day before, Jesse donned a cap while arriving at LAX Airport.

“I don’t like to celebrate myself and revel in my good achievements. If there is something funny that made it in the movie, I’m glad I guess… I don’t even know why I’m glad. I don’t care. I’m trying to do my job and set,” Jesse recently shared about himself.

He added, “If I have to see a movie I’m in, which I’ve had to in the past, it’s a mortifying experience.”

Isla Fisher dolls up while attending a screening of her new flick Now You See Me held at ArcLight on Thursday (May 23) in Hollywood.
