Oliver Hudson keeps it cool and casual as he hits the blue carpet at the premiere of Momentum Generation held at The Broad Stage on Monday (November 5) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 42-year-old actor was joined at the event by Rachael Leigh Cook as they both stepped out to show their support for the HBO documentary.

Momentum Generation follows the real-life story of a group of teenagers – Kelly Slater, Rob Machado, Shane Dorian, Taylor Knox, Kalani Robb, Benji Weatherly, Ross Williams, Pat O’Connell and Taylor Steele – in Hawaii who enter the world of professional competitive surfing in the 1990s and rise to super stardom.

From directors Jeff and Michael Zimbalist, and executive producer Robert Redford, Momentum Generation premieres on December 11 on HBO – Watch the teaser trailer below!

Outerknown co-founders Kelly and John Moore hosted the intimate party with the iconic retailer. The men’s floor was transformed into a blue oasis, featuring exclusive campaign imagery shot by photographer Todd Glaser in Hawaii with the North Shore Watermen.

Guests mingled to tunes spun by DJ Keith Kandell and a special musical performance by Citizen Cope while sipping on specialty Casamigos cocktails, House Beer, and catering by Gjusta.

Freddie was joined at the event by his The Good Doctor co-stars Nicholas Gonzalez, Richard Schiff, and Hill Harper while Britt was joined by her For the People co-stars Ben Rappaport, Rege-Jean Page, and Susannah Flood. Both of the shows will be getting second seasons on ABC!

Some other stars from returning shows who attended the event included American Idol‘s Ryan Seacrest, How to Get Away with Murder‘s Jack Falahee, black-ish‘s Anthony Anderson, The Goldbergs‘ Jeff Garlin and AJ Michalka, and Splitting Up Together‘s Oliver Hudson.

Roseanne stars Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Laurie Metcalf, and Michael Fishman were all there, as were Station 19 cast members Jaina Lee Ortiz, Jason George, Danielle Savre, and Barrett Doss.

Nathan Fillion keeps it cool and casual while attending Entertainment Weekly & People’s New York 2018 Upfronts Celebration held at The Bowery Hotel on Monday (May 14) in New York City.

The 47-year-old The Rookie star was joined at the event by Whiskey Cavalier‘s Scott Foley and Splitting Up Together‘s Oliver Hudson.

Oliver Hudson had a shot at playing Jack Pearson on This Is Us – but skipped one of his final auditions to go on a fishing trip!

“I went in and read and it went very well,” Oliver said on the LadyGang podcast. “They wanted me to come and do a chemistry read with Mandy Moore, but this will tell you how much I love to fish. I had a 10-day fishing trip planned, and it’s my life. Fishing is a big part of my life and it was this 10-day fishing trip.”

“My agent said, ‘We got a test. They really like you,’ and I said, ‘Ooh, I’m supposed to be going on a fishing trip.’ He’s like, ‘OK. So? This is a big thing.’ And I said, ‘You know what? I’m going to do my fishing trip,’” Oliver continued.

The role, of course, ended up going to Milo Ventimiglia. Now, Oliver stars in ABC’s Splitting Up Together alongside Jenna Fischer.
