Zayn Malik apparently won’t be included in the One Direction 10th Anniversary plans.

According to The Sun, Liam Payne revealed that he, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan will take part in the special plans, but shared that Zayn would be absent from them.

“Most of us are in London. We’ve been trying to arrange the first group FaceTime at the moment,” Liam shared while chatting with DJ Alesso in an Instagram Live.

He then added that Alesso could “come and fill in for Zayn, join the band.”

While nothing else was mentioned on Zayn‘s participation, Liam did admit that Louis did call him out for spilling reunion plans.

Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall did all just re-follow Zayn, who left the band in 2014, on social media.

“I’m with people who have real jobs, so they’re working…which leaves me with not a real job, doing kind of whatever. I’m reading a lot, doing a lot of writing, trying to exercise, trying to be outside. And then we kind of all get together in the evening and watch a film,” he explained.

He also provided an update on the “Watermelon Sugar” music video, as well as the idea of hopping on a Zoom with the One Direction boys for a quick reunion.

During the singalong segment, the host and Niall discussed his fears, including claustrophobia and birds.

“I’d say mostly pigeons. Like, I do enjoy a good walk in the park but the minute pigeons come into it…I think they’re horrible,” he said, resulting in the two going to a park where Niall is confronted with a handler – and Niall is covered in pigeons.

James, I swear this has just made my phobia worse,” he said.
