Reese Witherspoon has an exciting new project in the works!

The 43-year-old actress is attached to star in the upcoming sci-film Pyros, written by Thomas Pierce, who is adapting his short story Tardy Man, which published last year in The New Yorker.

The short story “deals with a group of augmented people who are fitted with indestructible fire suits that are fused to their spines. They work for a corporation that recovers objects for wealthy people when their houses are burning. It is strictly forbidden for them to veer from their salvage missions, even when other humans are in danger. The protagonist decides to make an exception to this rule and that is the jumping off point,” Deadline reports.

Reese will also be producing the film through her Hello Sunshine production company along with Simon Kinberg.

If you missed it, one of Reese‘s former co-stars says he wants to do a sequel of their hit film together!

The 23-year-old actress, who also starred on Game of Thrones as Sansa Stark, was joined by her co-stars Michael Fassbender, Tye Sheridan, and Evan Peters, as well as director Simon Kinberg.

The stars all stepped out earlier in the day for a press conference in Seoul. The movie will be hitting theaters everywhere on June 7.

Sophie Turner and Rosa Salazar promote their new movies at 2018 New York Comic Con!

The 22-year-old Game of Thrones actress and the 33-year-old Maze Runner: The Death Cure star both stepped out for the event held at Javits Center on Friday (October 5) in New York City.

Sophie was joined by her Dark Phoenix co-star Tye Sheridan and director Simon Kinberg, while Rosa was there with her Alita: Battle Angel co-star Keean Johnson and director Robert Rodriguez.

Also in attendance was Bad Times at the El Royale‘s Cailee Spaeny with director Drew Goddard.

Bad Times at the El Royale hits theaters on October 12, Alita: Battle Angel on February 14, and Dark Phoenix on June 7.

Jennifer Lawrence kicked off Thanksgiving weekend with a night at the theater to check out her friend Amy Schumer in the new Broadway play Meteor Shower!

The 27-year-old actress attended a performance of the play on Wednesday night (November 22) in New York City.

Jennifer was joined at the show by X-Men writer and producer Simon Kinberg. They are collaborating again on the upcoming film X-Men: Dark Phoenix, which will mark his directorial debut.

After the performance, Jennifer and Simon went backstage to greet Amy and the rest of the cast.

“Jennifer and Simon were only backstage for a few minutes after the show,” an eyewitness told JustJared.com. “They were escorted out of the stage door by one of the theater’s security guards, who walked them down the block.”

Earlier in the day, news broke that Jennifer and her boyfriend of one year, mother! director Darren Aronofsky, had amicably split about a month ago.

Jennifer and Amy are currently developing a film project, which they will write together.
