Something very sentimental to Jodie Turner-Smith was stolen during her hotel room break-in in Cannes.

Early on Sunday (July 11), the 34-year-old Queen & Slim actress took to Twitter to reveal that she had to file a police report after robbers allegedly broke into her hotel room and stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.

While promoting his new series, Dr. Death, the 43-year-old actor shared that having daughter Janie, who he shares with wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, shapes everything he does.

“A whole new world of things has just opened up to me in experiencing fatherhood and this magical, joyful, chaotic, stressful anxiety-inducing love that you did not know you had the capacity for,” Josh shared.

Jodie Turner-Smith looks like a goddess while walking the red carpet at the premiere of her movie After Yang during the 2021 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (July 8) in Cannes, France.

The 34-year-old actress stars in the upcoming movie alongside Colin Farrell, who didn’t make it to the event. She was joined at the event by co-stars Haley Lu Richarson and Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja, as well as writer and director Kogonada.

Earlier in the day, the four stars attended a photo call to promote the film.

Jodie‘s husband Joshua Jackson posted a photo of her on Twitter and said, “I would like to take this moment to update my previous *note*. @MissJodie is now also absolutely smashing the croisette as well. Good Lord.”

FYI: Jodie is wearing a custom Gucci strapless gown with a black vinyl, crystal embroidered corseted bustier and cream organza skirt with yellow crystal embroidery and canary yellow ostrich feathers with black leather platform high heel knot sandals. She completed her look with a Gucci High Jewelry yellow gold necklace with yellow beryls and diamonds, yellow gold bracelet with yellow beryls and diamonds, yellow gold earrings with yellow beryls and diamonds and a white gold heart shaped tanzanite and diamond ring.
