It looks like Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore will be reuniting again on the big screen!

On Sunday night (December 6), Adam and Drew were honored with the GOAT Dynamic Duo award at the 2020 MTV Movie & TV Awards: Greatest of All Time.

Adam and Drew have been frequent collaborators over the years, starring in three movies together (so far) with 1998′s The Wedding Singer, 2004′s 50 First Dates and 2014′s Blended.

“It was so much fun to make a movie with you in every of the last three decades,” Drew said to Adam, as they both appeared virtually to accept the award.

The two then teased that it might be time for them to do another movie together!

“Yes, yes, and Drew, it’s 2020 so you know what that means…” said Adam, as Drew replied, “Everything sucks?”

“Yeah, that’s true — but also, it’s a new decade so we get to make another movie together,” Adam said, to which Drew agreed: “Right, well let’s wait until we find something amazing, we do have 10 years.”

Adam then corrected: “Nine years and one month.”

“You’re right,” Drew then said. “Well, that’s not enough time. I don’t know, it doesn’t matter — it has to be special.”

Adam Sandler and Queen Latifah are hard at work on their new movie!

The 54-year-old Uncut Gems actor and the 50-year-old Girls Trip actor held hands while filming their new Netflix movie Hustle on Friday night (October 16) in Philadelphia, Penn.

Adam sported a black Jordan tracksuit while Queen Latifah looked pretty in a yellow cardigan and jeans while filming.

In between scenes, the co-stars were spotted wearing masks while hanging out on set.

Hustle is being directed by Jeremiah Zagar and centers on an American basketball scout who, after being unjustly fired, discovers a talented player abroad and decides to bring him to the U.S. to prove that they both have what it takes to make it in the NBA.

A cameo in the new Adam Sandler Netflix movie Hubie Halloween cost a Boston news reporter her job.

Alaina Pinto revealed that she was fired after making a cameo appearance in the film on social media on Thursday (October 15).

In one part of the film, the characters watch a fictional Wake Up Boston TV news segment, featuring a brief appearance by real-life anchor Alaina Pinto as an anchor named Erin wearing a Harley Quinn Halloween costume.

“Hi Friends! I have some news to share… Earlier this week I was let go from 7 News. I am posting this because I want to be open and honest with all of you. Last year, I participated in a cameo in the recently released Netflix movie by Adam Sandler, ‘Hubie Halloween’,” she wrote on Twitter.

“In doing so, I mistakenly violated my contract with the station and I understand why management unfortunately chose to terminate me. I am deeply disappointed and saddened, and I hoped this would not be how things evolved.”

“Thanks to all my wonderful 7 News viewers and my supportive and great colleagues at the station. Reporting the news to you every morning was an honor and a privilege. I promise to stay in touch and keep you updated on the next chapter – the future is bright,” she added.

Hubie Halloween was dedicated by Adam Sandler to this late star.

Adam Sandler included a sweet tribute to his late co-star Cameron Boyce in his new movie on Netflix, Hubie Halloween.

Following the end credits, there is a title card that appears, dedicating the film to Cameron‘s memory.

“In loving memory of CAMERON BOYCE. Gone way too soon and one of the kindest, coolest, funniest, and most talented kids we knew,” the card reads with an image of Cameron. “You live on forever in our hearts and are truly missed every day.”

Cameron sadly died in July of last year after having a sudden seizure in the middle of the night. He was only 21.

Adam and Cameron starred together in the Grown Ups films with the latter playing Adam‘s son.

Adam Sandler is opening up about life in quarantine!

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 54-year-old actor/comedian talked about his upcoming Netflix movie Hubie Halloween.

In the new movie, Adam reunites with Julie Bowen, who starred alongside him in Happy Gilmore, which was released in 1996.

During his interview, Adam revealed that he and his daughters watched Julie‘s hit comedy Modern Family while under quarantine.

“I didn’t know Modern Family as well as I should have, so during this pandemic, we watched Modern Family,” Adam shared. “My kids watched every episode of Modern Family, everyday – like two or three a day – and then they would repeat. Then the other kid would go, ‘I didn’t see it!’ so they would go and bring it back and watch the whole thing again.”

“And that show is literally the best show,” Adam continued. “I can’t believe how funny that show is. I love that show. My kids loved it so much, they would yell at me ‘Why aren’t you more like him?! He’s so funny’ and they would tell me how great everyone on the show is.”

Adam Sandler is returning to Netflix to save Halloween!

The streaming site just released the trailer for the 54-year-old actor’s new comedy, Hubie Halloween.

“Hubie Dubois (Sandler) thanklessly spends every Halloween making sure the residents of his hometown, Salem, celebrate safely and play by the rules,” Netflix says of the movie. “But this year, an escaped criminal and a mysterious new neighbor have Hubie on high alert. When people start disappearing, it’s up to Hubie to convince the police and townsfolk that the monsters are real, and only he can stop them.”

Hubie Halloween also stars Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Kevin James, Ray Liotta, Noah Schnapp, Steve Buscemi, George Wallace, Shaquille O’Neal, Tim Meadows, Mikey Day, Melissa Villasenor, Colin Quinn, and Rob Schneider.

Hubie Halloween will be released on Netflix on October 7!

Adam Sandler is celebrating 22 years with wife Jackie!

The 53-year-old Uncut Gems actor took to Instagram on Friday (July 31) to share a sweet post dedicated to his wife in honor of the first time they met.

“22 years ago today we locked eyes and fell deep. Look forward to the next 22, young lady. Love you my forever girl,” Adam wrote along with a few throwback photos of the couple.

Adam and Jackie have been together since 1998. They married in 2003 and share daughters Sadie, 13, and Sunny, 11.

Adam has some exciting projects lined up in the near future: he’s heading back to Netflix!
