Ben Hardy is ready to romance Haley Lu Richardson in The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight.

THR revealed that the 30-year-old actor will star as Oliver in the flick, opposite Haley as Hadley.

Based on the novel from Jennifer E. Smith, it centers on the lead couple who who begin to fall for each other on their flight from New York to London.

But, “is it misfortune or fate that separates them when they land? The probability of ever finding each other again seems impossible, but love — and London — may have a way of defying the odds.”

Ben isn’t the only actor who has joined the project that is currently filming in London, which will be written by Katie Lovejoy and directed by Vanessa Caswill.

Bebe Rexha, Jameela Jamil, and Sofia Carson hit the red carpet at the 2020 E! People’s Choice Awards on Sunday (November 15) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The three stars are all presenting during the show.

Jameela is also nominated for two awards: The Comedy TV Star of 2020 for her work on The Good Place and The Pop Podcast of 2020 for her podcast I Weigh.

Jameela Jamil has opened up about a suicide attempt that she experienced eight years ago.

During her appearance on Red Table Talk, the Misery Index host got candid with Jada Pinkett Smith and her daughter, Willow Smith, about what contributed to the attempt.

“Eight years ago… I tried to kill myself because I had a nervous breakdown,” Jameela revealed. “It was the second time I tried and I thought, ‘Well, I’m just gonna do it again if something huge doesn’t change– if everything doesn’t change.’ And so I decided to try and figure out my trauma, what had taken me to this low point…”

She went on and “realized, after seeking help, I had very severe depression and that my depression was caused by repressed rage. Upon realizing that, I was like ‘Okay, I have to just completely change everything’…And so I decided to just get rid of my filter, to mixed results on the internet, and I decided to never hold anything in ever again.”

Jameela says that by doing that, it helped her in her personal life and “while I understand that is not always the most responsible position to take, especially when you are a public figure, this has just been my personal journey to try to not kill myself again.”

The Good Place star also revealed that her nervous breakdown was heightened because she not only had pneumonia, but was over worked, too.

“I wasn’t able to lie down and sleep. I was also a DJ, so I was DJ’ing all night…working myself to the bone because also, as a woman, you’re always told that you have a sprint, not marathon, and so you never say no to a job,” she says. “You never say no to an opportunity. I was working myself to death. Everything was falling apart and I think I just reached my limit.”

Jameela added, “Everyone has a limit of how much sh** you can eat in this world and my cup of sh** runneth over and so I was like, ‘…what is the point? I’m not contributing anything to anyone. Everyone would be better off without me…’”

Earlier in the year, Jameela had another attempt after online bullies came after her and accused her of having Munchausen Syndrome.

The claims became so bad that her boyfriend, James Blake, even stepped in.

Jennifer Lopez‘s new movie is going to come out later than anticipated.

Marry Me, her rom-com featuring Owen Wilson, Maluma, Sarah Silverman, Jameela Jamil and Jimmy Fallon, is now coming out on May 14, 2021 amid the pandemic, Variety reported Tuesday (November 10).

The movie was originally scheduled to be released on February 12, 2021, which was originally when Universal and DreamWorks planned to release Spirit Untamed. That movie was moved to June 4.

Here’s a plot summary: “Lopez portrays a music superstar who marries a complete stranger (Owen Wilson) during one of her concerts after finding out her partner (played by Latin musician Maluma) is cheating on her.”

Jameela Jamil got real with one of her followers who complimented her skin.

The 34-year-old actress and activist posted a selfie and a follower commented, “Your skin is so perfect.”

Jameela took the time to respond back with a thoughtful comment, writing, “My skin is currently clear because: A) privileged people have more access to good quality nutrition and also our lives are significantly less stressful than the lives of those with less privilege. I also get to sleep more because of this. All these things keep my hormones in balance and I’m able to address food intolerances easily.”

Jameela Jamil is clarifying that she was not calling out Kim Kardashian‘s Skims maternity shapewear line and instead, was trying to open up about body shaming during pregnancy.

It all started when Jameela tweeted, “It would be so cool if pregnant people could just be allowed to be pregnant and get bigger and not be self conscious, and enjoy the miracle taking place inside their body and not have to worry about feeling embarrassed/shamed that their body is changing for an amazing reason.”

Many believed this tweet was directed at Kim for revealing her new line, which caused numerous headlines including one that read, “Kim Kardashian Responded To Backlash Over Her Maternity Shapewear Line After Jameela Jamil And Chrissy Teigen Got Involved.”

Jameela took to Instagram on Monday morning (September 14) to write, “This is annoying. They weren’t responding to me as I wasn’t one of the people saying the product wasn’t safe. I’d already read Kim’s description of the product before I spoke. I was only talking about the discourse online around body shaming (that popped up due to the backlash that I had nothing to do with) during pregnancy and people wearing awkward to piss in shape wear specifically to look slimmer rather than for support.”

“Bored of my name being used to drag me into sh*t that I’m not trying to be involved in. If I was calling her out, I would just call her out, I’ve hardly been shy about it in the past. I’m not a passive aggressive person. I’m extremely direct. From what I understand her product is safe. But there is definitely a huge societal problem with the way pregnant people feel they have to look while making a baby. (Not to mention the drama and pressure of post pregnancy bodies… a whole other nightmare that we as a society have to tackle.),” she posted.

Jameela has publicly called out Kim in the past.

The backlash actually got so bad for Kim that she personally responded.

There have been a lot of articles written about Jameela Jamil and Meghan Markle apparently being best friends, and now, we’re finding out the truth.

“LOL. Went to a hotel in SB for a romantic getaway with my boyfriend… and have seen 8 days of articles with increasingly ridiculous stories, none of which are consistent, none of which make sense… (all to now create the lie that she controls me and coordinates my every move.),” Jameela posted about an article speculating that she and the former royal are best friends.

Jameela continued, “I’ve met this woman once. Ever. #BestFriends These articles are a strategy to now blame her for MY every word and move. And to attempt to discredit my calling them out as if it isn’t a *FACT* that they bully and harass her for clicks, to feed Britain’s already sturdy xenophobia.”
