Julia Louis-Dreyfus Gives Update On Quarantine on 'Kimmel': 'I Don't Like to Cook This Much'

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is giving us an update on how she’s doing while quarantined.

Host Jimmy Kimmel has been doing a scaled-down version of his late-night talk show since the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak forced the Jimmy Kimmel Live — and dozens of other shows in production — to stop filming and send crews home.

Kimmel welcomed the Veep actress via a video chat, where Julia gave an update on how she’s been while quarantined at home with her family. After Kimmel asked whether she was deemed the cook of the house given her two young adult children are residing with her and her husband, Julia admitted: “I am and it’s irritating the hell out of me,” she explained. “I don’t like to cook this much. It’s three grown men and myself. It’s a lot of food.”

Later, Jimmy and Julia discussed how they’ve approached quarantining. Louis-Dreyfus said though she’s been running errands “hyper-carefully,” the only way she’s “keeping my sanity” is by going outside and walking or hiking. “That really just calms me down,” she said.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus then went on to give insight into what shows she’s bingeing, including Netflix’s Cheer and Last Chance U.

Will Ferrell Had To Be Rescued After Getting Lost with No Money in Switzerland!

Will Ferrell and Julia Louis-Dreyfus stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Thursday (February 13) to promote their new movie Downhill, and told some hilarious stories about what went down while filming the comedy.

The 52-year-old actor shared totally hilarious story about him getting lost after skiing downhill to Switzerland while on location.

“The second resort we were in, called Ischgl, shares the border,” Ferrell explained. “There were little signs, like, ‘This way, Switzerland.’ I’m, like, let’s do it. So I’m by myself, I’m skiing down, I was like, this is so lovely and, like, but I don’t see a chair lift back at all. And I end up in a small town in Switzerland. Gone for, like, three hours. I have to figure out, like, a bus and a tram. I had no money.”

Will joked, “The Swiss are naty. To get cornered by a bunch of Swiss, chanting at me. Pelting me with Rolex watches. Hard chocolate candies. It was harrowing.”

Director and Writer Jim Rash, who joined the actors later in the show, seems to have hoped for a different outcome: “We were actually upset that he came back. We were like, we did it. But he found his way back, so, you do what you can,” joked Rash.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus Thinks Trump Is Doing A Far Superior Version Of 'Veep' (Video)

Julia Louis-Dreyfus stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday (February 11) and took a shot at President Donald Trump.

The Emmy-winning actress was on the show to talk about her new movie Downhill and she also reflected on her show Veep and how it relates to Donald Trump.

“I feel like he’s doing a far superior version of our show [Veep], except that it’s not even remotely funny. It’s deadly serious,” Julia expressed, adding that she misses the show. “I mean, I miss it too. It was just gods of fun and good times.”

On her movie Downhill, which hits theaters on Friday (February 14), Julia said: “We all think we would stay. But what this movie is about [is that] good people make bad choices. How does one redeem themselves [after that moment]?” she said before host Stephen threw in a joke, “It’s a great Valentine’s Day [movie] if your relationship is very solid.”

FYI: Julia Louis-Dreyfus is wearing a Narciso Rodriguez dress.
